ZC900 compact machine for brick making
Soil cement mix ratio for making cement bricks
1. Soil: Generally, a sandy or loamy soil with good clay content is preferred. The soil should be free from organic matter, rocks, and debris.
2. Cement: Portland cement is commonly used for soil-cement mixtures. The amount of cement to be added depends on the soil properties and the desired strength of the bricks. Typically, a ratio of 10% to 15% cement by weight of the soil is used.
3. Water: The water content in the mixture should be sufficient to achieve a workable consistency. It is added gradually while mixing until the mixture is moist but not too wet.
It is important to note that the exact mix ratio may vary based on factors such as soil composition, moisture content, and the specific requirements of the construction project. It is recommended to conduct small-scale tests to determine the optimal mix ratio for your specific soil and project needs.
