The China Building Materials Federation held a conference to recognize the outstanding contributions of Communist Party members and grassroots organizations. The event was held on 30 June 2015 to coincide with the 94th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China.

Distinguished Attendees & Leadership

At the conference, the China Building Materials Federation was represented by a number of distinguished leaders. Qiao Longde was the President of the Federation. Sun Xiangyuan is Secretary General and Party Secretary. Ye Xiangyang was also present, along with other party members at different levels in the federation hierarchy.

Embracing party traditions and ideals

Sun Xiangyuan, Party Secretary of the Communist Party, stressed in his speech the importance to uphold the fine traditions of the Communist Party and adhere to the directives from General Secretary Xi Jinping. He stressed the importance of educational activities such as the "Three Stricts and Three Realities", which guide the industry's efforts to transform and upgrade. Secretary Sun also highlighted key challenges, such as structural adjustments and overcapacity. He urged concerted actions to address these issues.

Commendation Ceremony & Recognitions

The award ceremony to honor advanced grassroots party groups and exemplary Communist Party Members was a highlight of the conference. Chen Guoqing announced that the Federation and the Party Committee would commend the individuals and organizations. Chen Guoqing is a Vice President and member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee. The outstanding contributions of these individuals and organizations to the implementation of party directives, reform and innovation have been recognized.

Secretary Sun encouraged all party members, highlighting the importance of strengthening work styles and governance capabilities. Vice President Xu Yongmo presented insights from his learning journey. He focused on understanding the “Three Stricts and Three Realities” and promoting reforms within the federation. He presented strategies to achieve various work goals in a set time frame.

In his closing remarks, Secretary Sun, on behalf of Party Committee reiterated the commitment towards the ideals and the principles of the Communist Party. He called for a collective effort in the implementation of central directives and education activities, highlighting the active role played by the federation in the industry transformation. The event concluded with a swearing-in ceremony, which symbolized the new members' commitment to the values and goals of the party.
